Aroo! Seven White Wolves is here.
As of January, my first book is available for your reading (and listening) pleasure. It’s a murder mystery and fairy tale, folded into one. A short novella, Seven White Wolves is a leisurely read.
The Kindle version was released early on in the month. It’s already garnering some lovely reviews and 5-star ratings.
An audio book is also available on Amazon, iTunes, and Audible. Angel Leigh McCoy (no relation) provided the narration, and it far exceeded my expectations. Her reading is fabulous, enriching it with a sense of the time and place. You can listen to an excerpt here.
The print version just came out, as well as a German translation. Seiben Weisse Wolfe anyone?
The story tells of a young woman who’s imprisoned and awaiting a death sentence:
Tomorrow, Veleda will die. Her father condemned her to burn in the fires of Mōdranicht, Mother’s Night, for the crime of killing her babe.
Sworn to a vow of silence, she cannot speak to her innocence. She will die, none knowing the truth, and her brothers will be forever cursed.

“This story has an ethereal quality that swept me up completely. …It is a lyrical, magical yarn, and is hopefully only a prelude of more to come. If you’re looking for an escape to a different world, a puzzle to be solved, or an intriguing protagonist — look no further.”
— Silence Dogoode
“I love ancient traditions and I love books that incorporate them into their story. This book did just that, with a beautiful fairytale aura to the entire tale. …The author does an exquisite job of transporting you into a world of neopagan influence. It’s almost impossible not to find yourself in a daydream as you read. The way she creates the world around her characters is magnificent.”
— A Wondering Dawn
“The story was heart-wrenching, well written and inspiring with beautiful imagery. I would definitely recommend this author’s writing to anyone. This was a well written story with a beautiful, classic feel to it.”
